Change from signature card to certificate file
For a successful certificate change, the following steps must be performed one by one:

First: Checking the system requirements
We recommend that you check in advance whether your system meets the requirements for ELSTER. Our configuration wizard will carry out this check for you automatically. This step is optional.

Step 1: Entering the activation data and saving the ELSTER certificate
You have received the new activation data. Generate now your new certificate in this step.

Step 2: Activation of the ELSTER certificate and first login
If you have already completed the first step but have not yet activated your certificate, you can do so here. Activation is a prerequisite for using your certificate and is carried out by successfully logging in to ELSTER for the first time.
